1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via the online shop Crittex.eu, by email, or via Telegram Messenger.
Customers are exclusively consumers.
Deviating terms and conditions of the customer do not apply unless Crittex has expressly agreed to them in writing.
2. Contracting Party
The purchase contract is concluded with
Lukas Fabian Jenet – Crittex,
Schwedelbacher Straße 11, 67686 Mackenbach, Germany.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The product presentations in the online shop do not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding invitation to place an order.
By clicking the “Buy now” button, you submit a binding offer to purchase.
The contract is concluded as soon as Crittex confirms the order by email or dispatches the goods.
For custom-made products, the contract is concluded individually after confirmation of the design, the price, and the production time – usually after receipt of payment.
4. Products and Special Characteristics
All products are handmade. Minor deviations in color, surface, or shape are material-related and do not constitute defects.
Latex is a natural material – slight differences in color, structural differences, or odors are normal characteristics.
Custom-made products are manufactured according to individual customer specifications (e.g., painting, shapes, sizes).
Production begins only after receipt of the agreed full payment.
5. Prices and Shipping Costs
All prices are stated in Euro (€) and include German VAT (where applicable).
Shipping costs are displayed during the ordering process.
For deliveries outside the EU, additional import duties, taxes, or customs fees may apply, which are to be borne by the customer.
The stated shipping costs are flat rates and include, in addition to the pure transport costs, costs for packaging materials, logistics, handling, and processing.
The calculation is based on reference dimensions and weight categories in order to enable transparent and consistent pricing.
The shipping flat rate shown during the ordering process is decisive.
6. Payment
Payments can be made via PayPal, credit card, or Klarna.
Unless otherwise agreed, production begins only after receipt of the full payment.
7. Delivery, Production Time, and Retention of Title
The delivery times depend on the type of product and the current workload.
All products are individually made to order only after full payment has been received.
Standard items are generally shipped within 2–6 weeks after receipt of payment.
Custom/single-made items may take up to 8 months or longer depending on production capacity.
With single-made items, minor deviations in color, surface, structure, or shape may occur due to the material and handcrafted nature; these do not constitute a defect.
Once production has started, changes, cancellations, or returns are only possible by individual agreement.
Delays due to material availability, customs, or force majeure will be communicated transparently.
All goods remain the property of Crittex until full payment has been received.
8. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
8.1 Standard Products
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days for non-personalized standard products pursuant to § 355 BGB. For individually manufactured or personalized products, the right of withdrawal is excluded pursuant to § 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB.
8.2 Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Custom-Made Products
In accordance with § 312g (2) no. 1 of the German Civil Code (BGB), the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are manufactured according to customer specifications or clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs.
This means that custom-made masks, individual paintwork, custom-sized items, or other personalized designs can no longer be returned or refunded once production has started.
Exceptions may only be granted by individual agreement.
8.3 Hygiene Regulations
For hygienic reasons, latex products that have been worn or tested cannot be returned.
9. Crittex Repair Service
9.1 Crittex offers a repair service for damaged cast latex masks. Repairs may be carried out in cases of cracks, detached glue joints, material weaknesses, or similar damage, provided that repair is technically feasible.
9.2 The feasibility of repair is determined solely after individual assessment of the respective damage. The customer is obliged to provide complete and meaningful information as well as detailed photographs of the damage in advance.
9.3 There is no entitlement to the execution of a repair. Crittex reserves the right to decline repair orders if
-
the damage is technically irreparable,
-
professional repair does not appear possible,
-
the damage lies outside the company’s technical competence, or
the current workload does not allow acceptance of the order.
9.4 Type, scope, and remuneration of the repair services are agreed individually. The costs depend on the nature of the damage, labor required, materials used, and the methods applied.
9.5 Should it turn out after conclusion of the contract that, contrary to the initial assessment, the damage cannot be repaired professionally, Crittex is entitled to withdraw from the contract. Payments already made will be refunded in this case. The mask will be returned in its original condition as documented upon receipt.
9.6 To avoid disputes, the customer is obliged to take detailed photographs of the condition before shipping the mask. Crittex documents the condition upon receipt.
9.7 Shipping the mask to Crittex as well as the return shipment are at the customer’s risk unless a different written agreement has been made.
10. Warranty and Liability
Statutory warranty rights apply.
Crittex assumes no liability for damage resulting from improper storage, improper use, improper care, or unauthorized modifications of the products by the customer.
The products offered are made of latex. Customers are responsible for ensuring, prior to purchase, that they do not have a latex allergy or related intolerance. Crittex assumes no liability for allergic reactions due to a known or unknown latex allergy, unless there is intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
11. Copyright

The reproduction, distribution, or use of content requires prior written consent.
12. Data Protection
Personal data is collected and processed exclusively for order processing and communication.

13. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
For business customers and international customers, the place of jurisdiction is Kaiserslautern, Germany.
14. Final Provisions
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
